The best husband ever!

Adam and I have been doing a lot of yard work together lately but, while working together in the great outdoors has been no short of joyous, one irksome situation has somewhat tarnished our mutual bliss. Every time we want to do something, say…move some debris, transport a wheelbarrow, or drive through the mud, we have to borrow a truck, usually from Jed or Adam’s parents. This has really been a stumbling block to our agrarian and recreational spontaneity. I have expressed my concern to my loving husband and described my deep desire for a truck of our own. Now, any of you who know me know I do not like to “fit in” or “cater to the status quo.” Not just any truck would do. I wanted a truck that was big, loud, powerful, and would look good with the Rebel flag waving behind it. Of course I always dismissed these silly thoughts as frivolous and unrealistic. That is until yesterday. At about 10:00 last night, while I was in the shower, I heard the sweet sound of a low rumble coming down the road. It sounded almost like it stopped in our driveway. I quickly dried off and dressed and went out to the living room where Adam then escorted me outside. There in the driveway…my driveway, was the fulfillment of all my hopes and dreams, the perfect truck for the perfect adventurous couple.

Nice! Now that we own a truck, I can't imagine not having one. They are super handy!

I like it when Adam posts on the blog, I just think he should sign his own name. I think the big words gave him away.

I'm sure that's not all that gives him away. Great post, "Julie".
